Michelle was born in Cape Town, South Africa to a
Dutch-African father and Indian-African mother.  Her
family immigrated to Australia when she was a year
old, settling in the small beach town of Stanwell Park,
one hour south of Sydney.  After graduating high school
from Inaburra School in the Sutherland Shire, she then
attended Wollongong University, graduating with a Bachelor
of Creative Arts in Graphic Design and New Media.

Michelle dabbled in modeling during her teenage years and
was a consistent performer in U.S. commercials while
based in Sydney.  She discovered her love for acting while
taking classes in her spare time.  Her decision to pursue
acting as a career prompted her to move to Los Angeles to
study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre in West Hollywood.

Michelle now calls Los Angeles her home, enjoying her
career as a working actress.  She continues to practice at
the John Kirby Studio in Hollywood and can be seen in
many TV commercials, film and TV series throughout the
U.S.
